Both the food and drinks were really nice. It was the non-touristy, off the beaten path vibe we were looking for! The inside and outside were both beautiful! It was also nice to have some fresh seafood! They were having a slow night and brought us a few extra treats here and there. The service was very friendly and attentive, other than a small wait to pay at the end. Highly recommend!

A restaurant I want to revisit. A rare restaurant where the three elements of food, service, and atmosphere come together perfectly. I had a truly wonderful time here. All the food was excellent!

We're back after many years, and nothing has changed. Absolute mastery of the ingredients, not only the freshest fish but also expertly presented. The wine list is intelligent and original. The new restaurant with its internal garden is beautiful, and the staff, as always, is top-notch. A sure thing.

Food was lovely. We were looking for something outside of the pasta and pizza norm and this place did not disappoint. We did end up getting one pasta dish but it was fabulous. Every dish was absolutely delicious and presented well. They have a beautiful garden seating area as well.

If you're ever in Rome, this is a restaurant I highly recommend. You'll receive a warm welcome and the quality is excellent. Don't hesitate to reserve a table in their lovely little outdoor garden; the interior is very airy, and the menu is available in several languages, which is a nice bonus.

Treating yourself to an evening at Mater Matuta is like spending a few hours in paradise. A culinary journey that offers surprises with every course, in a perfect location for an evening immersed in the greenery of their private garden. A high-quality and passionate wine list, given the vast selection. The service is always attentive, kind, and highly knowledgeable. It's rare to find staff with these qualities in this industry... BRAVO! Chef Valentina is the beating heart of Mater, the one who transforms raw ingredients into emotions. Balanced by Stefano, he will gift you with elegance, kindness, and professionalism from the first step you take into the dining room of this wonderful jewel. Thank you❤
