My stay at Hotel Artemide in Rome was excellent from start to finish. I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service, beginning with the smooth online booking process all the way through to check-out. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help with a smile, making me feel genuinely welcome throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, providing a perfect place to relax after exploring Rome. One of the highlights was the complimentary minibar, which was a thoughtful touch and added great value to the overall experience. I highly recommend Hotel Artemide to anyone visiting Rome. Their outstanding hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and attention to detail made my stay truly memorable.

Very nice. Nice rooftop restaurant and bar. Good walking location for several sites. Room a little smaller but to be expected for Europe.

Just returned from our amazing trip to Rome. Highly recommend Hotel Artemide! Such a great visit and incredible location in the heart of the Monti district. I started my research 7 months prior to our visit using ChatGPT. I fed it my short criteria list with location and a good morning breakfast as the main thing. It's recommendation of Hotel Artemide did not disappoint. My wife and I still talk about the breakfast experience. Their staff were so nice and warm. On one of the mornings one of the girls brought out a Cappuccino to my wife and said 'it was made with love'. I mean who does that anymore?! They were so nice. We had the Junior Suite which I highly recommend. It provided kind of a separate room and was extremely spacious. The bell hops were so great and ordered taxis for us and answered all our questions. This hotel is more than just a place to stay, it was truly part of the experience.

An Extraordinary Stay Defined by Genuine Hospitality After completing an intensive four-week language immersion program in Rome, I checked into Hotel Artemide planning to stay for only two nights. Two nights became four, and four became six. That alone should tell you how much I enjoyed my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness. The front desk staff, the doormen, housekeeping, and every team member I encountered were exceptional. They provided wonderful recommendations, helped me navigate the city, offered guidance on transportation and car rentals, and consistently went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. My room was beautiful, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. The complimentary minibar was generously stocked and regularly refreshed. Housekeeping was outstanding. In particular, I want to recognize the maid who cared for my room. Anytime she saw me in the hallway, she would stop and ask if there was anything I needed. Her attention to detail and sincere desire to help made a lasting impression. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being cared for by someone who genuinely wanted you to feel at home. Breakfast each morning was one of the highlights of my stay. The quality and selection were excellent, but what truly made the experience memorable was the breakfast staff. The women who work there were warm, welcoming, efficient, and incredibly attentive. They created an atmosphere that felt less like a hotel dining room and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. As someone with Italian heritage and an Italian mother, I do not make this comparison lightly: breakfast at Hotel Artemide felt like being back in my mother’s kitchen. The staff introduced me to local specialties they thought I would enjoy, including toast topped with melted cheese and another with fresh diced tomatoes. Both were phenomenal and became some of my favorite breakfasts of the trip. These are the kinds of thoughtful touches that transform a good stay into a memorable one. Every morning I felt genuinely cared for. It was as though I were staying with family and they were making breakfast for an overnight guest they were happy to have in their home. The rooftop restaurant, Ambrosia, was equally exceptional. I dined there multiple times during my stay, largely because of Matteo. He is the consummate professional and, without question, the finest server I encountered during my entire time in Rome. One evening I mentioned that I was considering going out for pizza. Matteo smiled and said he had a better idea. He recommended fresh focaccia with green olives, buffalo mozzarella, and prosciutto. It was absolutely incredible and became one of the most memorable meals of my trip. His recommendations were consistently excellent, his attention to detail was remarkable, and he somehow managed to make every meal feel personal. As someone with an Italian mother, I can only describe the experience this way: dining at Ambrosia felt like sitting in my mother’s kitchen while someone insisted I try the dish they knew I would love. Matteo possesses that rare gift of making hospitality feel effortless and genuine. The rooftop views were stunning, especially in the evening. Between the beautiful Roman skyline, outstanding food, and exceptional service, Ambrosia became one of my favorite places in the city. There is a difference between service and hospitality. Many hotels provide excellent service. Hotel Artemide provides hospitality. Looking back, what I will remember most is not just the beautiful room, excellent location, rooftop views, or outstanding food. It is the people. Every member of the team—from housekeeping and the breakfast staff to the front desk, doormen, and Matteo at Ambrosia—made me feel welcomed, appreciated, and cared for. What was intended to be a two-night stay became six nights because I simply didn’t want to leave. I cannot recommend Hotel Artemide highly enough. I look forward to returning the next time I am in Rome.
