Fantastic hotel. My wife and I stayed here on our 25th anniversary trip before leaving on a cruise. The staff was great to work with and took excellent care of us from check-in, to breakfast, and through making arrangements for a smooth ride out to the port. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and you can't beat the location.

Amazing experience at the hotel. Beautiful place, kind people and a one of a kind view from the colosseum.

So many positives to point out first. All of the staff make a concerted effort to render premium service The location speaks for itself. Breakfast buffet was totally delicious - outstanding service Vista of the Colosseum from the restaurant is unbeatable. Great ambience, music, etc. service The quarters are extremely tight everywhere and claustrophobic to me. The room was hard to move about without bumping into something we had one of the smaller rooms so I would suggest spending the extra money on a full suite. I love the fact that you could open the windows and stick your head out - check the video

Excellent service and great rooms. Close to the old town, but far from the historical area. Very good breakfast.

Absolutely unacceptable for a supposed luxury hotel. We booked Palazzo Manfredi through Expedia under the “Reserve Now, Pay at Property” option for our honeymoon. Our credit card had been cancelled due to fraud, so naturally we needed to update our payment information. Instead of giving us a reasonable opportunity to do so, the hotel called once, sent one email, and cancelled our reservation almost immediately. Within minutes, everything was gone. Expedia’s own policy states guests should have 24 hours to resolve payment issues, yet Palazzo Manfredi chose to ignore that and cancelled our reservation before we even had a chance to respond. This wasn’t a last-minute booking. This was our honeymoon, planned months in advance, and the hotel showed absolutely no flexibility, empathy, or professionalism. Luxury isn’t just beautiful rooms—it’s customer service. Palazzo Manfredi failed completely. If this is how they treat guests over a simple payment update caused by credit card fraud, imagine how they’ll handle a real issue during your stay. We have screenshots showing the call, email, and cancellation happening within minutes. We will never book this hotel again and cannot recommend it to anyone planning an important trip.

Very disappointing experience. I booked through Expedia under the “Reserve Now, Pay at Property” option for our honeymoon. My credit card was stolen after booking, so it had been cancelled and I was waiting for a replacement. The hotel attempted to charge the old card, emailed me to update my payment method, and then cancelled my reservation within about a minute before I had any real chance to contact them. By the time I called, my room had already been sold. Very poor customer service and no consideration for guests. I expected a reasonable opportunity to update my payment information. Hotel sent an email to contact them and next minute reservation cancelled! Attached are the pictures of email time. Within a minute everything was done! They just wanted to sell my reservation for higher price!!
