Rocce Bianche is a free pebble beach of a few hundred metres in the Spisone area, north of Mazzarò towards Letojanni. It is the one beach near Taormina that gay travel writing names consistently: Travel by Interest calls it probably the most famous among gay travellers, and Wonderful Italy says it draws gay visitors from across Europe. People use it as a naturist beach, but we could not confirm any official designation, and public nudity outside a designated area can bring a fine in Italy. There are no facilities that we could confirm. Those guides date from 2018 and 2021, so treat the crowd as seasonal and unconfirmed for this year.
