This is my second time staying at this hotel in Taormina, and my review is once again positive. Spectacular location, just steps from everything (including the sea via cable car, public transportation, or even on foot, where a scenic route takes you directly to Isola Bella). The owners are incredibly kind and friendly, and the rooms have all the essentials, including a brand-new bathroom, TV, and air conditioning. Breakfast is basic but good. Thank you so much, and see you at the next concert.

Highly recommended if you are looking for a budget hotel in the area and just need the basics (it is a 1-star hotel after all). The hotel feels a bit dated but it is clean, safe and it went above our expectations. The room was simple but good. We had a room viewing over the street and were woken up a couple of times during the night from what sounded as garbage collection trucks passing by. We didn’t bother too much, but some earplugs could come in handy. The breakfast consists of a croissant, a small bread, a glass of juice, tea/coffee and a slice of cake. The coffee was excellent. The reception desk is not always staffed, but you can call if needed. The hotel itself is located at the edge of the city center, but the city is so small that you can reach everything by foot. It is close the the cable car that goes to the beach and the bus station.
