Small, basic, and spartan standard rooms, without a closet, suitable only for short stays. Location: near the cable car to beautiful Taormina and a short walk to the rocky beach of Mazzarò. Basic, decent, and simple breakfast. Convenience: hotel parking available for €15/night.

The room is literally a "hole." The only window is connected to the bathroom, and the glass door, which could be left open, opens directly onto the parking lot of the neighboring hotel, where people are constantly coming and going in their cars. You can barely move around inside the room. I have no idea where you could put large suitcases. The employee was anything but friendly; he just kept telling us that's why the room was on sale (10 euros less), and nowhere in their listing is there a description of that room or the reason for the discount. They only show their rooms with sea views, and those are very few and far between! Beware! For a double room for 110 euros, I could have definitely found something better. I feel ripped off. I don't recommend this place at all; ask all the questions before booking!

The location of the hotel is convenient, but unfortunately the overall experience was very disappointing. Our main expectation was simply to have a clean and quiet place to rest during our 5-night stay, and sadly this basic expectation was not met. Every morning from around 5:00 AM, there were extremely loud disturbances directly outside our window. Garbage collection took place repeatedly over multiple time periods, creating significant noise and waking us up every single morning. In addition, loud motorcycle engine noise early in the morning made it impossible to sleep properly. The room itself also had several cleanliness and maintenance issues, including poor overall cleanliness and a blocked shower drain. For the price paid, this level of comfort and maintenance is simply not acceptable. A hotel should provide basic cleanliness and a reasonable level of quiet, and unfortunately this property failed on both. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to travelers who value rest and sleep during their stay in Taormina.

The receptionist was very friendly and attentive. We felt very well welcomed and looked after. Despite the heavy traffic from the street, our room was quiet.

I'm giving it 4 stars considering the town we're talking about. We assume that wealthy people would never go to this category of hotel, but for everyone else, it's one of the few decent options in Taormina. The room was just for sleeping and little else, the breakfast was basic but sufficient, and there was a nice terrace. The staff's service was excellent, especially the young woman at reception.

A very good location for the lower part of Taormina. The hotel is as expected, given its 2-star rating and the price paid for May. The cleanliness could be significantly improved. However, the friendliness of the receptionist, Miriam, was outstanding from the moment we booked until the end of our stay.
