Excellent location near Porta Nuova station. The city center is easily accessible on foot. The rooms were clean and provided a small kettle for tea or coffee. The staff was helpful and friendly.
Hotel is well kept, rooms are very spacious (for Italy), with all - or most amenities in there. Reasonably working Internet connection. Staff - very pleasant and efficient. Bathroom - big enough and everything working. Despite being on fairly busy street, it is rather quiet in the rooms. Breakfast is OK-ish, the juice is somewhat fake, very chemical taste. Cappuccino is bad, which I find weird for Italy, but normal coffee is good, so I suppose the machines don't use real milk. The hot dishes for breakfast are mediocre at best, probably cheapest sausages available, scrambled eggs - don't know how to describe it, but they don't taste as eggs were involved in the making.
Hotel Urbani is ideally located for those arriving by train, being close to the station and offering easy access to the historic center. The location and rooms are equipped with every comfort, and the staff are welcoming and attentive.
A good hotel, excellent rooms
We stayed at Hotel Urbani on our bicycle trip along the Po River. We stopped for two nights in Turin. This hotel was excellent. The staff were warm and welcoming. They had a secure place to park our bicycles. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast service was very good. It was a perfect stay.
