Laguna Pride

Laguna Pride is the grassroots, self-organised coalition behind Venice's Pride march, revived in 2023 after years without a city Pride. Rather than a single association, it brings together local queer, transfeminist and student collectives - among them Queer We Go, Fondamenta Queer and groups from the Ca' Foscari and IUAV universities - to stage a walking parade through the historic centre each June, from Santa Lucia station via Campo Santa Margherita to the Zattere waterfront. It is the closest thing Venice has to a permanent LGBTQ+ community hub, and is followed mainly through its social channels.
