About this place Swiss Diamond Hotel Prishtina

Swiss Diamond Hotel Prishtina is a five-star hotel on Mother Teresa Square, at the heart of Pristina's pedestrian boulevard. It is one of the city's best-known upscale hotels and is used heavily by diplomats and business travellers. It is a mainstream hotel listed as gay-friendly, not an LGBTQ+ venue, and it is highly rated (4.7 from about 1,300 Google reviews). The central location puts most cafes, restaurants and government buildings within walking distance. Pristina has held a Pride march since 2017, but everyday attitudes remain conservative, so discretion in public is advisable.

Lots of great things about this place! There are some minor things but it would be unfair to rate them less than 5/5 because of that. The sauna is really great, was very positively surprised by the quality of the lemonades there. I'd buy it daily if it were available at home. Almost all client facing staff speak English and are eager to help. For me the only two downsides to the hotel were mandatory valet parking and the in-house restaurant. The valets did a great job and were fast to get my car when I asked for it, no complaint there. I just don't like giving away the little control I have when staying in a foreign country. In the restaurant I had a asparagus risotto, which turned out to be green asparagus and not discernible in the dish. Nothing special. I'd reccommend slimming down the menu to just the best dishes. Don't be worried though, the hotel is in an amazing location and there are amazing Albanian restaurants very close by. I'd reccommend staying here!
