What a fantastic experience at this unique spot in Amsterdam. The view over the city is truly phenomenal and provides the perfect backdrop for a high-level dinner. Every dish was a feast for the eyes and incredibly refined in taste. I was particularly impressed by the special appetizer served in a white, oval-shaped bowl. Everything was perfect down to the last detail. Highly recommended for anyone who really wants to treat themselves to a special evening.

It was an amazing dining experience. Best service we’ve ever received among same class Michelin restaurants. Food was extremely delicious, with surprising flavour twists & textures coming with highest quality. Prices are comparable to 3 Michelin star restaurants but experience was worth it. A wonderful dining experience at Ciel Bleu. The service was warm, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. A special thank you to the team for being so accommodating with our dietary requirements, which was greatly appreciated. The food was excellent from start to finish. The amuse-bouche was a beautiful start with lovely Mediterranean flavors. The lobster was outstanding, fresh and full of bright citrus notes. The pigeon was perfectly executed, and the wagyu with tamarind sauce was another memorable and flavorful dish. A special compliment to Chef Arjan Speelman and his talented kitchen team for delivering such a refined and confident menu. The quality, balance, and execution of the savory courses were exceptional and 💯 worthy of its two Michelin stars. The only course that did not work for us was the strawberry dessert. Unfortunately, the combination of seaweed ice cream and pickled strawberries was not to our taste and felt out of place compared to the excellence of the rest of the menu. Overall, a fantastic evening with exceptional food and outstanding service. 8/10.

The service was impeccable and attentive. Food was reasonably nice. The outstanding dish was the first dessert named rice which gave us a nice surprise with taste and texture.

According to Hotel Okura, the restaurant combines classic French principles with innovative techniques, international influences, and meticulous precision – exactly what we experienced in every single dish that evening. We would particularly like to commend the exceptional sommelier, Noël Vanwittenbergh. His expertise, his charisma, and the way he brings wine to life were absolutely impressive and enriched the evening in a truly special way. Hotel Okura also recognizes his significant influence on the wine experience at Ciel Bleu for many years – and rightly so. The service was equally excellent: attentive, warm, highly professional, and always pleasantly unobtrusive. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, you feel welcome and exceptionally well cared for. This is complemented by the extraordinary skill of the chefs, who, with great expertise, creativity, and palpable passion, create a culinary experience that will linger in your memory. The overall ambiance is also unique. The combination of excellent cuisine, superb service, exceptional wine pairings, and the panoramic view over Amsterdam makes Ciel Bleu a place you don't just visit, but experience. For us, it was a wonderful evening of absolute top-notch quality. An unqualified recommendation.
