What a wonderful experience at this restaurant on Markenplein. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail and the food was truly fantastic. The quality of the meat on the plate stood out immediately; the perfectly grilled lamb chops, in particular, were a highlight. The various dips and the cheese board with the fresh tomatoes also tasted very good. We had a fantastic evening.

Absolutely delicious food! We had T-bone steak, ribeye, and salmon, all perfectly cooked, with various vegetables and rice. The service was also very friendly! Simply top-notch!

This is a Gem the Food and service is a amazing we had the Lamb Kebab, T-Bone Steak we had well and medium well cooked both perfect the rack of lamb and the portions were great. Thank you Black Olive.

Excellent service! Compliments before the meal and a complimentary baklava afterward. The food is delicious, all dishes, especially the meat and rice!

We dined here with a group of ex-colleagues and what a fantastic experience! Black Olive has an incredibly nice ambiance and a level of customer friendliness that you rarely see these days. The service was quick, incredibly hospitable, and truly nothing was too much trouble for them. We started with the mezzes for the group. These were deliciously varied and incredibly flavorful. Because I love mercimek (lentil soup) so much myself and indicated that I wanted to try it, we were given a small bowl 'on the house' for free. Absolutely delicious! The other two in the group who had hesitated regretted not ordering it themselves, so naturally, I dutifully shared. I really love it and eat it myself at least twice a week. The main courses were also perfectly seasoned, and the price-quality ratio here is simply very good. To finish, two of us had a dame blanche, after which the rest of the group was surprised with delicious baklava on the house. Those kinds of thoughtful gestures make all the difference. After dinner, we stayed for quite a while chatting pleasantly, and fortunately, that was perfectly possible here without feeling like you were being stared at. Finally, an important plus point: the toilets were spotlessly clean. Highly recommended and well worth a solid 5 stars. I will 100% certainly go back here again!
