Spent a lovely afternoon on the terrace at the Torpedoloods. Opted for the chef's extensive surprise lunch. This was not a bad choice at all. We were truly spoiled with the most delicious dishes accompanied by a wonderful wine. Compliments to the radiant staff and the artistry of the kitchen brigade☀️🤗🥳

Super location, beautiful view over the Waterway. Had a very tasty lunch with 4 people. The price is a bit higher, but it was worth it. And not unimportant, our dog was very welcome. He immediately got a bowl of water.

We really had a delicious meal here. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and the portions were generous. You definitely get your money's worth. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Also very nice: it is child-friendly. We were there with our (normally polite 😉) child and felt more than welcome. That made the experience complete. If you are in Hoek van Holland and want to eat well, we highly recommend the Torpedoloods. We will definitely be back!

One glass of tap water on a scorching hot day, along with 6 other overpriced drinks, was asking too much. We were brought Spa Blue instead, which we didn't drink, but which was still charged for. The younger staff tried their best, while the somewhat older staff showed in every way that they weren't in the mood today. What a shame, such a beautiful place!

First waitress asked "what we came for". Not nice, but maybe she had a bad day. When after 10 minutes a 2nd waitress showed up and ignored us, we decided to leave. Bought some drinks in the local supermarket instead, much friendlier personnel.

Nice place to grab a drink on the way. We also saw some lovely lunch dishes pass by.
