Rude service, the bartender is absent from the bar for most the time and does not serve the customers.

It's a shame people are posting here just to vent their anger. For example, Amanda Dan claims to have been going to Bona for years, but she thinks it's gone downhill since the new staff. My question is which new staff, because most of them have been there for years. Now, I've noticed Amanda has almost nothing but bad reviews about several establishments. I think Amanda should just stay home; that's better for Amanda Dan and better for people who enjoy going out.

Unpleasant and disgusting experience. The owner willingly stole money from me. I was playing on the slot machines. There was still money in the machine, more than €50 (as shown in the attached video). He refuses to pay up, and instead banned me from coming to the bar. There is no common sense with this decision. The owner himself, when he needed it, asked for my help with the music, by the coat check or behind the bar. But when it comes to paying it up MY deserved money that I won from the slot machine (not even asking money for all the free labor I’ve done there) he completely freezes and bans me from every coming in.

A truly bizarre experience. I've been coming here for ten years, but the Bonaparte we knew is unfortunately completely gone. I didn't want to believe the negative stories at first, until I experienced it myself. The staff who work there now lack even the most basic rules of hospitality and decency. While you're in the middle of a conversation with a friend, unwinding after a hard week's work, the red-haired employee rudely interrupts you. She embarrasses you by demanding that you buy a beer immediately or leave immediately. Perhaps this is also the reason they constantly change staff; the quality and atmosphere have completely deteriorated. It's as if they single out certain customers to bother, while others are allowed to sit down. Even worse, friends of the staff bother you all evening and even try to touch you. If you're not happy with this, you truly realize how hostile the atmosphere is. You feel surrounded by a desperate group who are ruining the entire evening without the staff intervening. You're constantly being watched and looked away, creating a grim and hostile atmosphere. If you're looking for a pleasant evening without anyone watching your back, you'd be better off skipping this place. There's no hospitality left, just intimidation. It's a real shame for what used to be a beautiful place.

Unfortunately, on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at approximately 5:05 AM, there was an incident with a new security guard. He was a tall, thin, blue-eyed Dutch man who was not wearing a security uniform at the time. This person abused his power for personal revenge and false accusations. It's a great shame that one unprofessional person could ruin this establishment's good reputation. I have officially reported this to the police, and I expect management to intervene after reviewing the camera footage. "I have been a loyal guest here for over seven years, and the previous security staff were always extremely professional and welcoming. Unfortunately, there was a serious incident on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at approximately 5:05 AM involving a new staff member. The individual was a tall, thin, blue-eyed Dutch man who, notably, was not wearing a security uniform at the time. ​This person is abusing his position for personal vendettas and making false accusations. It is a shame that one unprofessional individual is ruining the long-standing reputation of this establishment. I have officially reported this incident to the police and I expect management to take immediate action after reviewing the CCTV footage."
