Club Exit

Club Exit is The Hague's primary gay nightclub — the venue that provides the larger-scale club experience in a city whose gay scene is otherwise dominated by bar culture. The Grote Marktstraat location is central to The Hague's city centre, accessible from both the Centraal and HS train stations. The club runs DJ programming on Friday and Saturday nights, with commercial house and pop music standard across the main floor. The crowd is younger than the bar venues and more tourist-adjacent, drawing both from The Hague's local gay community and from visitors to the city. Club Exit is not on the scale of Amsterdam's Club NYX but provides the full nightclub experience that the bar scene cannot: a proper dancefloor, production lighting and sound, and the late-night energy that is absent from the café-bar venues. During The Hague Pride week, Club Exit is one of the central venues for the event's evening programme and draws significantly larger crowds than normal. The Centrum location makes it a natural end to a night that begins with dinner near the Hofvijver and continues through one of the gay bars.
