About this place Luzztro

Luzztro is the club Warsaw goes to when everywhere else closes. Set on Mazowiecka 12 in the city centre, it is the capital's best-known afterhours venue: multiple dance floors of gritty, heavy techno and underground electronic music, DJs running until well into the next day, and drag queens appearing on stage between sets. The crowd is genuinely mixed - queer clubbers, techno heads and night owls of every kind - and the venue has long been a fixture in gay guides to the city precisely because LGBTQ+ guests are unambiguously welcome on the dance floor. Staff, from the bouncers to the bar crew, have a reputation for being unusually friendly for a club of this size, and there is a big smoking room when you need a break from the floor. Come late: the point of Luzztro is what happens after 4am. During Equality Parade week in June the queue tells you everything about its place in the city's nightlife.

Dear Sir or Madam, Today we were repeatedly turned away at opening time. Apparently, the DJ hadn't shown up... If we were turned away, there was no good reason for it. If the DJ didn't appear, I would question how I can justify opening at midnight with such staff and partners. Bad experience. It's best to visit similar clubs on the weekend.

Security at the gate said the DJ wasn't there yet and we had to wait. It was clearly a scam to get us out, because the club opens at midnight, and it was already 1:40 a.m. We really wanted to get in, but they just turned us away, twice within an hour of each other...

What can I say? There were quite a few odd characters hanging around in front of the club. There weren't any clear signs either. When we tried to go in, they said the DJ was running late and would be there in 15-20 minutes. On our second attempt, they said the DJ still hadn't arrived. What can you say when you don't want people in the club? Personally, I don't think it's a big deal if you don't fit the vibe. But have some decency, be honest, and don't lie to each other.

Google will not let me say this but here’s another try: racist bouncers are known for pepper spraying foreigners and GIRLS. aggressive and don’t bother to communicate with tourists. 5 of us (4 girls 1 guy) were looking for a cool place to dance in Warsaw at 3am- Smolna was closed so we picked this bar even though there was no queue outside… 3 of the girls paid and went in, but they didn’t let my other girl friend and i inside, nor refund us for the other 3– all this with no explanation. I tried to mediate and be respectful, but due to them not knowing how to SPEAK, this all escalated to them slamming the door on my confused girl friend’s foot before pepper spraying and kicking me (coward move), then PEPPER SPRAYING ONE OF THE GIRLS as well, before spraying me AGAIN while i was sitting down trying to figure out what had just happened. - they did this because I was still calm and trying to de-escalate. Shout out to CITY24 Restaurant and a group of strangers for helping us and empathizing with us-here we learned that this is normal behavior from them. PS the guy could barely catch me so he could kick me. They need more training.

I was here recently five years after leaving the worst review and it is still the absolute worst club in Warsaw and I do not recommend it, and in fact I advise against any financial investment.

It was as expected. Exactly as previous reviews have said, dirty, quite disgusting and absolutely perfect.
