What reviewers say

Many visitors praise the friendly and welcoming hosts, excellent location, and lovely rooms with great views. However, some guests found the hosts unwelcoming and experienced issues such as noise from children and a small, less than ideal shower.

Lovely room with a spectacular view. Heather and Craig were really accommodating and helpful. The location was ideal for all that Keswick has to offer.

We had a super lovely stay at the West View guesthouse! Hosts: Heather and Craig are the most friendly and welcoming hosts that you can meet. We were a bit uncertain on which ones of the numerous trails to choose, and they gave us excellent recommendations on beautiful hikes and places to visit, alongside with maps to borrow from them. Room/house: We chose the small room for our stay. However, despite the size, we had enough space to store our clothes for 4 nights. Worth to notice the availability of a big, shared space with the other guests, with two large sofas, some games for children, and a lovely view of the mountains. Breakfast: Excellent breakfast! You can help yourself with some milk/yogurt and fruit/cereals/nuts, and have a cooked breakfast as well. We had a tasty English breakfast (including big Cumberland sausage) and pancakes that kept us full until lunch 😊

Well appointed B&B a short walk to Keswick centre. Parking can be difficult but when you find a space you don't need to move it again.. Breakfast is full and excellent quality and the hosts are lovely. Great walks around the local area for all levels which the owners are very knowledgeable on
