There is a casino and supermarket nearby. There was no hair dryer in the room, so I wanted one, but other than that I had no complaints.

The hotel is located in the Old Town of Košice (a short walk from Main Street), two stops from the main train station, next to the Aupark shopping mall (with a Billa supermarket). The entrance to the property is on Bottova Street. After a hassle-free check-in, I took the elevator to the second floor and to my room. The room was a bit old-fashioned, but very warm and spacious. The walls were thin, and I could hear my neighbors. The bed was comfortable; the mattress could have been a bit thicker. There were no sounds from outside. Breakfast is included in the price. I was leaving before it started, so I asked for a lunch box, which was waiting for me at the reception desk at the appointed time. Overall, I recommend it.

Our class had their graduation party at the Gloria Palac Hotel in Košice. Unfortunately, our experience was a huge disappointment. For the price we paid, we expected a professional and friendly approach, but we were met with the exact opposite - the staff were rude, unpleasant and unwilling. What shocked us the most was that just an hour before we were supposed to move out of the room, they informed us that we would no longer be able to use it - even though it had been previously agreed for changing and storing things. And this was during our program, when we could not even properly take care of our things. Instead, they sent us to a small room where we were supposed to just throw everything away. We find this approach unprofessional and disrespectful. (After a confrontation when half of our things were gone, they allowed us to clean it up later.) We expected much better behavior, if only because this hotel regularly hosts graduation parties. If they treat other customers like this, thank you very much. We are not the only ones who had a similar experience - other classes from our school also encountered the same reluctance and dishonest approach. Gloria Palac should seriously think about how he communicates with customers, because such behavior casts a bad shadow on his name. In the end, however, I want to praise the friendliness and human approach of the manager, with whom we dealt with the entire process before the graduation.
