Mary Boone Bar is a cocktail spot on Carrer de València in Barcelona's Eixample, a neighborhood that leans LGBTQ+ friendly.
It’s the kind of place where you can actually talk to people. Go alone or with friends, grab a drink, and chances are you’ll end up chatting with someone new. It's got a relaxed, social hum—good if you want a slice of Barcelona’s gay scene without the thump of a big club.
Barcelona’s gay bars run the gamut from quiet lounges to pumping dance floors. Mary Boone slides right into the cocktail bar slot: think quality drinks, a chill evening, not sweaty clubbing. Eixample, where it sits, is basically ground zero for Barcelona's LGBTQ+ community. So, if you feel like hopping around, you’re in a good spot to hit a few places in one night.
For hours, what’s on the menu, or any events, check their site: maryboonebar.com/uk/home/. It’s a solid bet for a good cocktail and real conversation.

Ostentatious place
Beer for €5 at 8 p.m. (small size! 😳)... And the menu said it was €3 until midnight. It would be nice if they updated the menu. Unreasonable price for a beer on a normal street-level terrace.
Everything was perfect, from the service and the atmosphere to the cocktails.
An amazing place in Barcelona where you lose track of time and space and can simply enjoy both the cocktails and the music. Definitely our go-to spot every time we're in the city! Thank you so much!!!
Beautiful cosy cocktail bar in the heart of the city. Drinks are tasty, music is always great, and the staff is very kind. Always had a good experience there and will come back for sure. The right place to dance and meet interesting people!
