About this place Sala Apolo

Sala Apolo is a mainstream concert hall and nightclub in an old dance hall on Carrer Nou de la Rambla, on the El Raval and Poble-sec edge near Paral·lel metro. It is gay-friendly rather than a gay club: the crowd is mixed, and queer people have always been part of it, especially at the long-running Nitsa electronic nights on weekends. The main room keeps its ballroom shape, with balconies around the dancefloor. Gigs happen earlier in the evening; club nights start around midnight and run to 5 or 6am Thursday to Sunday. Entry prices vary by night and are cheaper with advance tickets.
