About this place Bear Pride Barcelona

Bear Pride Barcelona is the spot for the international bear community in Barcelona, a specific kind of gay bar that's more about connection than just a quick drink.

You'll find it on Carrer de la Canuda, right in the city center. Think of it as a home base for bears, their admirers, and anyone else who wants to hang out with them when they're in town.

Barcelona's LGBTQ+ scene is big and spread out, with places for every taste. This one isn't trying to be everything to everyone. Instead, it’s a dedicated space, carving out a corner specifically for the bear crowd, a community often overlooked in broader gay nightlife guides.

They put on a full calendar of events, mostly parties and live DJs. So if you're looking to meet people, especially during big gay events or just a weekend trip, this is where a lot of the action happens. The crowd is generally friendly and focused on good times.

It's smart to check their schedule online before you go, as opening hours and what's on can shift. But its central spot means it's easy to get to, whether you're already out exploring the gay area or just starting your night.

We were the only clients, arrived early and the bathrooms were gross. One of them was full of flies, and the smell was terrible. It was so bad, that I could even feel that smell from the table. Not recommended

Hello, I'm a gay Arab man coming to Barcelona for tourism. I like to wear makeup, but I don't speak Spanish well and I'm shy. Am I welcome?

What makes this bar stand out is the superb service that all the waiters always provide to me and my friends, but especially Carlos, who is always very attentive and never loses his courtesy or politeness even when there is a workload that could overwhelm the staff.
