Wellness Club 33 takes up the gym and spa floor of Axel Hotel at 33 Carrer d'Aribau, right in the thick of Gayxample.
Axel is one of Europe's better-known gay hotels, so the club naturally skews that way without being overt about it. You’ll find a mostly gay crowd here, but anyone over 18 can come in.
Inside, there's a full gym with cardio and weight machines. The spa has a swimming pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi, plus you can book massages and personal training sessions.
Not staying at the hotel? Day passes run about €15 for just the gym, or €25 if you want the sauna and spa too. Weekly passes are also an option.
It's just a few minutes’ walk from the main Eixample gay bars and shops, making it a good spot to get a workout in before a night out, or to stretch after a flight. Note that the rooftop pool (TheClub) is a separate ticket and open seasonally.

Its a nice budget friendly hotel Mattress not very comfortable, the iron is leaking and hairdryer so weak Not enough surfaces to put our stuff on Floor has no run/carpet Tv very old we cant connect our phone or wifi
Such a fun rooftop bar! Great vibes, great bartenders and great drinks. Will always love returning here.
At 10:30 AM there's no bar service for a coffee... That's exclusivity, isn't it?
Amazing hotel and a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were professional, welcoming, and always ready to help. Special thanks to Adrià for the excellent service. Highly recommended! we would happily stay here again!
The hotel was excellent, with a wonderful atmosphere and an amazing location that made it easy to access everything around the city. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Our flight was scheduled for the evening, so we needed somewhere to store our luggage while we explored the city. We asked if the hotel could help, and although many other hotels we have stayed at did not offer this service, they were happy to store our luggage for us. This was a huge convenience and saved us a lot of time and hassle. The room was comfortable and well maintained, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Joaquin and his team for their excellent service and hospitality. We truly appreciated their help and would happily stay here again.
