Great, friendly, helpful staff

Great value for money. Tidy, great location, quiet and more like a hotel than a hostal. Friendly staff as well.

As drain system in the shower room is bad, water often stacked and I had to wait until water flows. Wifi didn’t work and a lady staff who only speak Spanish could not help me at the end. As The wall of the rooms are very thin, even small cough can be reached out to the other rooms. Therefore I cared about small noise that I made in my room. This hostal has 3 starts somehow but I don’t think this is correct…although this hostal would be good for travelers.

EXACTLY GOOD FOR THE PRICE 👍🏻 We were looking for an affordable hotel during our 3-night, 4-day stay, and we had the opportunity to experience this one. It's surrounded by lots of restaurants, parking, metro, tram, souvenir shops – everything you could want. You can walk to many places in 15-20 minutes. Our room was clean; the sheets and towels were all there. We had a minor issue with the toilet flush, but it was resolved. Having a balcony was a nice touch 👍🏻

The room was so-so, the bathroom lacking a bidet and a bit of rust. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and the room's soundproofing was poor; you could hear everything from the lobby and other rooms. The adjacent street was also noisy, even at night. The only positives were the small terrace and the proximity to Pasejo de Gracia.

Cozy, Clean, Safe, and Perfectly Located!! Hostal Boutique Khronos is a lovely little gem right in the heart of Barcelona. The location couldn’t be better, it’s close to everything you could possibly need. Restaurants, attractions, shops, clothing stores, public transportation, cafés, you name it, everything is just a short walk away. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who wants to explore the city without wasting time on long commutes. The place itself is very clean, neat, and well maintained. Even though the rooms are not very large, they’re well designed and make great use of every bit of space. The decoration throughout the hostel is tasteful, with beautiful art paintings on the walls that give it a warm and personal touch. It’s also surprisingly quiet, which makes it perfect for resting after a long day of sightseeing. There’s a small but cute kitchen area that feels cozy and welcoming, and just behind it there’s a large outdoor terrace where you can hang out, relax, or enjoy your morning coffee. Some of the rooms also have small balconies, which is a really nice bonus. The hostel offers a variety of continental breakfast options, simple but satisfying and convenient before heading out for the day. The place also feels very safe, even if you come back late at night or after midnight. Guests are given their own set of keys, so you can enter the hostel and your room easily without worrying. If you happen to arrive and need assistance, you can ring the bell and the staff will gladly open the door for you. It’s nice knowing you can move around freely and still feel secure at all times. A couple of small things to mention: the shower water gets very hot, which feels great after a long day walking around the city, but the bathroom could use a bit more ventilation as it tends to get foggy. Also, finding the entrance the first time can be a little confusing, so make sure to follow the directions carefully. Overall, Hostal Boutique Khronos is clean, comfortable, charming, safe, and perfectly located. I would definitely stay here again.
