About this place Gais Positius

Gais Positius is a long-running Barcelona group that helps gay men with HIV. Since 1994, it’s been a lifeline for members, building peer support, making life better, and fighting the stigma that still comes with being HIV-positive.

You can get free rapid HIV and syphilis tests here, which makes looking after your sexual health pretty simple, even when you're traveling. Beyond testing, the group runs support networks and programs to help people connect and to lobby for the rights of HIV-positive gay men. It’s a place where people look out for each other, working for a more inclusive society.

If you want to meet some of Barcelona’s LGBTQ+ community, or you’re just curious about local health resources, Gais Positius welcomes visitors. Check their website, or just drop by.

Bad NGO It seems like you're bothering me when I call. They're only interested in the grant they receive.

Excellent service, and great understanding and help from Javier and Diana, who helped us uncover and explore fears and taboos related to our individual understanding of sex, pleasure, and love. Thank you so much for your help.

They are the best healthy competition that the health administration in Barcelona could have had. A friendly, family-like approach, like being at home, without making a big deal out of anything.
