Casper's Eatery & Bar

Casper's has been part of the Benidorm gay scene since 2004, which makes hosts Brian and Mark two of the longest-serving faces in the village. Their spot on Calle San Miguel is a cafe-bar in the proper sense: home-cooked British food during the day, cocktails as the light goes, and a room where the regulars all seem to know each other. The weekly fixture is Thursday night at 10pm, when resident performer Will Sparkle takes over for the house cabaret - an old-school, personal-scale show that fits the room perfectly. Calle San Miguel runs a block over from the main Santa Faz-Alacant triangle, so Casper's works as the eat-first stop before the village proper, or the daytime refuge when you want the scene without the volume.
