Clean but tired rooms but you don’t spend much time in the room anyway in Benidorm do you. Ours a bit smelly with damp. Cheap and cheerful. Perfect position for tapas alley and old town and the beach.

Stayed at Queens Hotel recently and overall it was a mixed experience. The biggest downside was the smell coming from the drains at night. It was extremely strong and kept waking us up throughout the night, to the point where we had to leave the balcony door open. Another issue was the noise early in the morning from staff smashing bottles into bins, which also disturbed our sleep. The room cleanliness was generally okay, but nothing special. The cleaners changed towels and bedding regularly, which was appreciated, but the bathroom clearly wasn’t deep cleaned properly as there were still toothpaste marks and body wash streaks left on the tiles from previous guests. On the positive side, the breakfast was nice and the beds were very comfortable. It was good to have a proper duvet instead of just thin sheets. There was also enough space for luggage, and the room included a safe for valuables (although you do have to pay extra for it). We also had a decent balcony view which was a nice bonus. Overall, the hotel has some good points, but the drain smell and early morning noise really affected our stay.
