Benidorm Coves (Cala Ti Ximo)

The coves at the northeastern tip of Benidorm - Cala Ti Ximo and, further on, Cala Almadraba - are the town's traditional outdoor cruising ground, tucked under the cliffs of the Serra Gelada headland about a kilometre past the Rincon de Loix end of Levante beach. Ti Ximo itself is a small naturist-friendly pebble cove, and the action is around rather than on it: the rocks flanking the bay, the gorge above the second cove and the cliff paths that link them are where men wander, mostly on warm afternoons through spring and summer. Practical notes: there are no bars, no facilities and no fresh water out here, the paths are steep and rocky, and parking near the coves is limited - wear proper shoes, bring water, and treat it as the semi-wild headland it is. Everything is a 20-25 minute walk from the last hotels on Levante.
