Benidorm Pride
About This Event
Benidorm Pride is a September Pride on the Costa Blanca, first held in 2010, that now fills most of a week. It is run by promoter Santos Torres under the Benidorm Pride Festival name, with support from the City Council and Visit Benidorm, and its crowd is heavily international, mostly British, which matches the year-round gay scene in the old town.
The week runs Tuesday to Sunday in early September with shows, concerts and parties: a pool party and Divas Disco at the Julio Iglesias auditorium in Parque de l'Aigüera, a White Party, and street parties in the old town. The main event is the Saturday afternoon parade: floats leave from the Rincón de Loix end, follow the Levante promenade and finish at the auditorium. The bars around Calle Santa Faz carry on long after.
Book early; hotels near the old town and on the Levante side fill up that week. September heat is still serious, which is why the parade starts in the late afternoon.
The 16th edition ran 1 to 6 September 2026, with 18 floats in the parade on Saturday 5 September. Organisers and the council estimate more than 20,000 visitors; there is no independent count. For 2027 the organiser's Instagram gives 1 to 5 September; the official website hadn't published the programme or tickets when we checked in November 2026.

Practical Tips
Book accommodation early
Old-town and Levante hotels fill up for Pride week, so book as soon as the dates are confirmed.
Base yourself in the old town
Calle Santa Faz, Calle Alicante and Plaça de la Constitució hold most of Benidorm's gay bars, and the street parties happen there.
Watch for the programme
The parade and street parties are free; the pool party, White Party and some club nights are ticketed. benidormpride.com publishes the programme and tickets, usually in summer.
