Bilbao Bizkaia Harro (Bilbao Pride)
About This Event
Bilbao Bizkaia Harro is Bilbao's official Pride program, run by the association Ortzadar LGTBI+ with backing from the city council, the Bizkaia provincial council and the Basque tourism agency. In 2026 it ran from 12 to 28 June under the slogan "Cuando el odio expulsa, la comunidad abraza", focused on LGBTI+ migrants. The march on Saturday 27 June left Sagrado Corazón at 5pm behind three floats, with a drag gala and HarroLatino in El Arenal.
It is contested locally. Floats only joined the march in 2025, and that year the collective Ehgam Bilbo called for a boycott, calling it a tourism plan for rich gay visitors, and joined a separate 28 June march. We couldn't find a reliable attendance figure, and the 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.

Event Dates
Main events in Bilbao will be concentrated between June 25-28, 2026. Other municipalities in Bizkaia will host events on June 12-13 and June 19-20.
Parade
The main parade is scheduled for Saturday, June 27th.
Activities
The event includes concerts, a Drag Gala, workshops for children (HARROkids), and guided tours focusing on LGBTIQ+ history.
Transportation
The Bilbao Metro, Bilbobus, and the tram are efficient ways to get around the city. Consider purchasing a Barik card for public transport.
