Lovely park that is free to visit. Lots of space so easy to find a quiet spot or nice to just wander round. Well cared for area with a dog exercise area, children’s playground, a small lake and nice planting.
It is the largest park in Bilbao. A huge pond with many ducks and swans forms the center. There are sculptures and monuments in several places. The Museum of Fine Arts is also located here. It is pleasant to stay here and you can lie on the wooden deckchairs. For the kids there is a large playground.
Perfect place to be on an unusually warm day in Bilbao. The spray from one of the fountains provided a refreshing relief.
A very pleasant park with water features. It is located in a modern part of the city and provides some refuge from all of the traffic. We liked the fountains.
Beautiful green lung of the city, large and very varied, well maintained
Beautiful park full of fountains. A wonderful experience to enjoy at night as all the water fountains are with changing colors and rhythm. It has wonderful spaces, statues, pergolas. It's very nice.
Casilda Iturrizar parkea is a beautiful park and the main one of the city. It is named after Casilda Iturrizar, a 19th century figure who donated the land to the city. The park is a lovely space of green, with several sculptures, ponds, fountains and wildlife, such as ducks. It has several other features as well which make it an ideal place to go for a walk and a relaxing time.
English-style park created in 1907. It is the work of architect Ricardo Bastida and engineer Juan de Eguiraun. The land was given by Casilda Iturrizar, and from there it takes its name.
Come and enjoy the fountains with vibrant colors, perfect to close the day, I don't know the fountain schedule but I arrived 21:40 and turned off the fountain 22h, the park in general very nice, very well maintained as everything in the Basque Country, very green and nice views. I had a very relaxing time
Not an absolute must in Bilbao, but a pleasant park to walk around in. Here you take some beautiful pictures without much effort.
