Imagine this: I call the hotel to confirm some details of my reservation, and on the other end of the line, the receptionist answers with the same enthusiasm as someone who's just missed their last coffee of the morning. Dry, curt, and with a "yes, what do you want?" that sounded more like a reproach than a welcome. I thought, "Goodness, if this is how it is over the phone, what will I expect in person?" I arrive at the Aila II Hotel Boutique by SingularStays, and sure enough, the check-in doesn't improve much. The same distant treatment, monosyllabic answers, and a general feeling of "we're just here because we have to be." I started to regret the reservation and wonder if I'd made the wrong choice (I wanted the earth to swallow me up). But here comes the plot twist that changed everything: management entered the scene like a superhero. Someone from management found out what had happened, took charge of the situation with professionalism and empathy, and transformed what started out terribly into a truly pleasant stay. Thanks to their concern and promptness, all the minor issues were more than resolved. This demonstrates that when management is attentive, a hotel can undergo a spectacular transformation. A heartfelt round of applause for them! Although it's a one-star hotel, the facilities are new, modern, and exquisitely maintained. It rivals any establishment of a higher category. The common areas and rooms reflect refined taste and an almost artisanal attention to detail: every element seems carefully selected, from the immaculate linens to the minimalist and elegant finishes. The cleanliness is impeccable; it's clear that even the smallest corner is cared for with a dedication that borders on obsessive (in the best possible way). The rooms are truly pampered: soft textiles, warm lighting, decorative details that add warmth without overwhelming the atmosphere… everything conveys serenity and comfort. The only real "but" (and here's the funny part) is the acoustics, which seem to have been designed by someone who thought, "Soundproofing? Why bother, noise is life!" The doors let in sounds from the hallway with the fidelity of a recording studio, and the infamous water pump reminds you, at the most unexpected moments, that you're in a building with systems that... let's just say they have a personality of their own. Suddenly, boom-boom-boom!, and you feel like you're in an underground nightclub. It's not deafening, but it's noticeable enough to elicit a resigned chuckle at seven in the morning. Otherwise, I would return without hesitation. The rooms are meticulously maintained, and the hotel as a whole exudes a sense of freshness and quality that far exceeds its official rating. A special thanks to the management for handling the situation with such professionalism and compassion. Thanks to you all, what started as a disaster turned into a positive experience that I'll remember fondly (and a few funny anecdotes about the water pump). Recommended with some reservations, but with the assurance that the management takes good care of its guests!

I was absolutely thrilled with this hotel! Everything was spotlessly clean, the room was perfectly adequate and just so charmingly decorated. You immediately feel at home! The fantastic rooftop balcony was a real highlight. The staff were always incredibly friendly – ​​I'll definitely be back!

The hotel is very nice. Everything is new and very clean. The staff is very friendly. And the complimentary breakfast is excellent. They also provide coffee capsules and a variety of teas for you to enjoy in the evening. The single room is fine, just adequate. I would note that the soundproofing isn't very good; you can hear neighboring guests quite a bit, as well as the shower, toilet, and elevator. It's well located near the bus and tram.

I would like to highlight the tranquility and warmth that the hotel exudes, as well as the care and attention shown by the staff, who attend to every detail for the guests, especially in the care and cleanliness of the rooms. As for the reception staff, I would like to express my gratitude to them as well, for their attentiveness and respect towards the guests. Regarding improvements, perhaps during the guest check-in and identification process, the room access information could be sent to guests' email addresses, eliminating the need to memorize it. Rosa made us feel at home from the very first minute. She was incredibly kind, answering and resolving all our questions. A true professional, it's a pleasure to meet people like her. Regarding the hotel, we were truly surprised. It's very new, very clean and welcoming, and close to the metro for getting around Valencia. We recommend it 100%. Oh, and the complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise since it wasn't mentioned on the website.
