Its own site leads with that location: the rock's nature reserve and the port's fish restaurants are both close by. Google reviews average 4.4 from about 1,950, so it's a well-known, reliable option rather than a boutique stay. It isn't a gay hotel and Calp has no gay bars; Benidorm's scene is about 25 km south.

Great location with stunning views of the Ifach rock from our room. There was a full moon and we could see the seagulls circling the rock all night. Easy walking distance to the beach with lots of restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity. Staff friendly and efficient, loads of breakfast choices, comfy bed, clean and tidy, would recommend!

Perfect little hotel right on the harbour with 3 small coves and a big beach right on our doorstep as well as the walk up and around ifac. Excellent service, clean and comfortable room - would have liked a kettle on the room but it's my only negative. Excellent selection at breakfast, lovely views and wonderful service at both breakfast and at reception, they can't do enough for you. Would highly recommend and will hopefully return in the future.
