La Troya Season

La Troya is Ibiza's long-running gay-rooted weekly party, a mix of costume, carnival theatre and house music that DJ Mag says has been going for over four decades. It started with Brasilio de Oliveira, a São Paulo-born promoter who arrived on the island in the early 1970s. He began at KU, the open-air club that later became Privilege, through nights such as La Vaca Asesina. The party then became famous as La Troya Asesina at Amnesia, and ran at Space until that club closed. Brasilio died in Brazil in 2020, aged 74, and Eduardo de Oliveira now directs the brand.

The night moves venue and weekday from year to year, so check before you plan around it. After a year at Playa Soleil, it returned for 2026 to Chinois, the club inside the Ibiza Gran Hotel at Marina Botafoch, every Monday from May 25 to October 5. A warm-up date at IMS on April 26 came before the season. The 2026 lineup included David Morales, Todd Terry, Nicole Moudaber, Mousse T, Gok Wan and Melanie C, with the usual dancers and performers in costume.

The 2027 venue and dates hadn't been announced when we checked. Recent seasons have run from late May or June to early October.
