Friendly staff, fairly clean rooms. Pets allowed, good price. The only thing that bothered us was that they were doing repairs on the water pipes that day and there was no water until the evening. I don't know if this is a common problem, but otherwise everything was fine.

A warning to anyone who might read this: this guesthouse, in my opinion, should be shut down for health reasons. Thank God we only booked one night because the experience couldn't have been worse. I don't know if it's like that in all the rooms, but in the two we stayed in, it was like sleeping in a sewer, to the point that our clothes smelled like drains the next day. To make matters worse, we decided to open the bathroom window to try and air it out, and it turned out it faced the neighbor's terrace. In fact, the neighbor was using the windowsill as a shelf to put his hot chocolate and ashtray. I would have liked to confront the owner and ask for a complaint form, but there was no one around for two days. It's the worst place I've ever stayed, and as I said, that establishment should be closed.

And I'm not giving a lower rating because it won't let me. My reservation was for four people, and when we arrived, the shock was the smell of dampness, everything broken in the lower part of the rooms, and a truly awful smell. They didn't even have a refrigerator, even though Booking.com advertised them as having one, not even a mini-fridge. And the person who answered the phone was incredibly rude, telling me to leave if I didn't like it and that they weren't going to refund my money. It's a disgrace that they're advertised on Booking.com with such poor quality. I hope you don't fall into this trap or scam; you'll thank me for it.

Nothing like the photos....

Disappointing, nothing like the website's advertising. The beds are springy, the pillows are filled with sponge (ideal for waking up with a stiff neck). In the shower, be prepared for the water running into the bathroom because there's no screen, and the curtain is useless. The bathroom has a window that looks out onto the neighbor's patio, offering no privacy whatsoever, and what's worse, you can't open it to let out the sludge smell from the pipes, which is still clinging to my clothes. I spent an entire night breathing in the smell of sewage, and I'm not exaggerating, it's nauseating. (This is what prompted me to write this review.) No one deserves to spend a vacation unable to rest and breathing in the smell of sewage. This business should undergo a health inspection, especially when you're paying €60 a night, a 4-star price, and they don't even give it half a star. If you can't run a business, close it or at least keep it in decent condition, even if it's not luxurious.

I suppose it's normal, or I don't know, but everything was so-so, verging on bad, but the location is wonderful and that's why it's worth it.

Just somewhere to sleep

The receptionist was very friendly and the rooms were lovely. The only minor things I would suggest are a brighter light in the bathroom and shower doors, as water leaks everywhere.

Good value for money, clean rooms, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a small refrigerator, and a terrace with a table and chairs. The beds were a bit hard for my liking.

The hostel was fine in terms of facilities, comfort, and fairly large rooms. The only downside is the location, as it's far from the nightclubs we went to, Maui and Mandala. However, it has many amenities nearby. Parking is difficult at night during August, but you can park right outside in the morning. The main drawback is that the other guests are very rude and made a lot of noise in the early hours. Since there's no one monitoring the noise at night, it's difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The room looks nothing like the photos; the cleanliness was appalling, everything was filthy. I contacted the manager, and he couldn't have been more arrogant and unpleasant. The place is terrible, and the reception was even worse. I definitely wouldn't recommend it unless you enjoy filth.

My wife and I went to Mojacar for a two-day holiday, hoping to enjoy some time alone. We wanted to explore the town and beaches, so we didn't want to spend much time in our room. Upon arrival, we passed two men in their 30s drinking beer in the hallways. The receptionist was very friendly. She showed us to our room, and we headed there, continuing to encounter men drinking in the narrow, claustrophobic hallways. When we got to the room, there were two beds crammed into a 10-square-meter space that looked dirty—nothing like the photos. The terrace overlooked a construction site, and the bathroom had a very dim orange light that made it feel like we were in a Saw movie. Although the location in town was decent, I'm giving it one star for this aspect because there was no sea view, and it was right next to an Asian restaurant. My wife burst into tears when we arrived, and when we sat down on the bed to figure out what to do, we realized the beds had old springs that made a lot of noise. While we were trying to figure out what to do, we heard two burps coming from the hallway. The doors were made of old, dry wood that didn't insulate the sound at all; it felt like we were right there in the hallway. Finally, after thinking about it for 10 minutes, we decided to leave and lose the money for the two nights. I wouldn't recommend it even if you paid to go. If anyone reads this review, I would strongly advise against going to this place. It's absolutely not worth saving even €1000 to endure that ordeal.
