About this place Muerde O Chupa
Muerde O Chupa is a small gay cocktail bar at Calle de Hortaleza 10, at the Gran Vía end of Chueca. The name means "bite or suck", and the drinks list is playful to match. Reviewers mention fruity margaritas and attentive bartenders. Google rates it 4.1 from about 140 reviews.
It works best as an early stop. Madrid nights start late, so bars like this fill up from around 11pm and people move on to clubs afterwards. Plaza de Chueca and the rest of the neighbourhood's bars are a few minutes' walk north. Expect it to be packed during Madrid Pride (MADO) in early July.

A tiny place to grab some cocktails and have a laugh, thanks to the shape of the glasses. The bartender was great.
