Lakama Bar, on Calle Gravina in Madrid, is a gay bar where you can actually relax.
Most of Madrid's gay nightlife is packed into Chueca, and Lakama sits right in the middle of it. But unlike some of its neighbors, the vibe here is low-key. Come alone or with friends; no one's performing, and you don't have to be, either.
You’ll find a solid drink list, nothing crazy, and the staff are friendly. It’s the kind of place you could drop into for one drink and end up staying for a few more, just talking.
For current hours or if there’s anything special happening, their Facebook page is the place to look. It’s a good, unpretentious spot, and a proper local hang-out for LGBTQ+ visitors and Madrileños alike.

Nice drinks
Very good service, food, and place... just a little hot... otherwise excellent
A ridiculously overpriced bar with an unpleasant vibe. The staff are very busy trying to lure in customers, only to ignore them once they're seated, preferring to be on their phones or talking amongst themselves.
IT'S WAY TOO HOT! Poor ventilation, but otherwise perfect.
Most of the drinks from the card are not available, instead I got a margarita which tasted VERY poor. No local craft beers in offer, only commercial massively-produced poor beers.
I always come back so we can enjoy our cocktails in peace and quiet in a very nice place.
