LL Show Bar
Visitors consistently praise the LL Show Bar for its authentic Madrid nightlife experience, vibrant energy, and talented drag performers, with many highlighting the welcoming atmosphere and good drink prices. However, some reviewers mention the venue can be very crowded for its small size, and a common complaint is that the drag shows are primarily in Spanish, which can be alienating for non-Spanish speakers.

LL Show Bar, on Calle Pelayo in central Madrid, is a gay bar with a fun, retro 1980s look. It pulls a bear-friendly crowd, and there’s a drag or strip show every night of the week.
Madrid’s gay scene is big and open, with places for every taste. This one is more theatrical than, say, a quiet lounge. Think colorful decor and a schedule packed with performances. It's an energetic, playful atmosphere where the focus is on having fun and watching the shows with other people.
If you're in Madrid and want a gay bar with entertainment, give this place a look. You can find their schedule on their website, llshowbar.com. If you're looking for a place with soul, history, and the true essence of Madrid's nightlife, L&L Show Bar is a must-visit. I've been to Madrid more than 10 times, and this spot near the pedestrian streets in the city center always draws me in with its authenticity, its boundless joy, and that "structural excellence" that keeps it relevant year after year without changing its essence. A Treasure from the Archives: The Live Show (2013 vs. Today) I'm sharing exclusive photos from my personal archive from March 2013 with the community. It's exciting to see that, more than a decade later, the place is still that haven of freedom and fun I knew. In my photos, you can see the bar completely packed, vibrating with the energy of the customers who crowd in to see the show. The most striking thing about my photos is seeing the drag performers in the middle of their act. The pictures capture the spectacle under the colorful lights, the disco ball, and that unique connection they achieve with the microphone in hand. Seeing the bar so packed with people enjoying themselves is the best proof that the quality of the show has remained constant over the years. These photos demonstrate that L&L is not a passing fad. It's a historical record that confirms the trajectory of its artists (the "transformers" of the show), who have a charisma that transcends the lens. Watching them perform in such a vibrant venue is to connect with the true culture of Madrid's entertainment scene. Why it's a must-see for me: High-Level Drag Shows: The talent is undeniable. The ability to improvise, the dazzling costumes, and the constant interaction with the audience make each night unique. In my photos from 2013, you could already see that professional dedication that remains intact today; it's an art form that hasn't changed and continues to draw huge crowds. A Real and Human Atmosphere: As I always say, the photos that show the bar full and people sharing the moment are the ones that best convey the true essence of a place. Here you'll find laughter, music, respect, and an inclusive energy where everyone feels part of the show from the very first minute. Perfect Location: Ideally situated for those of us walking along the pedestrian streets that connect to Puerta del Sol. It's the perfect ending to a day of exploring the historic center of Madrid. As a Level 8 Local Guide, I greatly value establishments like this that withstand the test of time while maintaining their unique identity. Uploading this footage from a decade ago, when the place was thriving, is my way of certifying this bar's impeccable history. If you want an authentic night out with the best drag shows in Madrid, this is the place!
The best place in Chueca for an unforgettable experience ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Favorite gay bar I went to in Madrid. Not much of a scene (all ages and types). Drag shows every night, the queen playing the sax is the best! Upstairs and downstairs levels. Always crowded, even on weeknights. Drink prices are good.
Great show it is very small but good vibes
The girls are fabulous, they're divas! I love this place, 100 out of 10!
