El Bulldog is a cocktail bar in Chueca, Madrid. It's a gay bar in a neighborhood that’s been the heart of Madrid’s LGBTQ+ culture and nightlife for decades.
You’ll find a friendly, low-key crowd here, people who want to talk and have a drink without the noise or intensity of a bigger club. Locals hang out with visitors. It’s a good place to start the night, or to settle in for a few hours if you’re not looking to hit the dance floor.
Chueca is dense with gay bars, cafes, and shops, all walkable. You can bounce between places or just find one spot that feels right for the evening. El Bulldog is that kind of casual cocktail bar.
It’s at Calle de San Bartolomé 16. Check their website, http://elbulldogbar.com/, for current hours and what they’re pouring.

Placed an order with Full Arepas (that’s how they advertise themselves on Uber Eats) on Uber Eats at 6:59 PM and almost an hour and a half later my food never arrived. No communication, no real updates, nothing. I ended up having to cancel the order completely. What’s worse is that after looking at the reviews, this seems to happen to MANY people over and over again. They continue advertising on Uber Eats, taking orders, and leaving customers waiting endlessly without receiving their food. Also, the business appears under a different name than what people expect, which makes the situation even more confusing and misleading. Please read the Google reviews before ordering from this place because there is a very high chance your order will either arrive extremely late or never arrive at all. Completely unacceptable experience.
Today I visited the restaurant with my family, and the service was incredible from the very first moment. The staff was very attentive. Not only was the food excellent, but the atmosphere was also wonderful. Best of luck!
I really don't recommend it; they're abusive. They play with your time. You wait three hours for food and it never arrives. Don't order food there; it never arrives. They call you and say they're on their way, but it's a lie. What a rip-off!
The rest of the negative reviews are 100% real. We waited two hours for our order to arrive. We kept calling the guy to get an update on the order status since there was no tracking information. The guy was the rudest and most dishonest person on the planet. I asked him how much longer it would take, and he said the delivery driver had already left. The restaurant was 15 minutes from my house. 45 minutes later, I called again, and he said he would contact the driver. After waiting 15 minutes for his response, we called again, but he wouldn't answer because he'd forgotten about my number. We called from another phone, and he answered right away. For the one time every two months we order food, we got a lemon. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO OR ORDER FOOD FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I'm sorry, but if the owners don't want to make their business successful, I'm not going to help them. I would be ashamed to be the owner of this establishment knowing that they lie to their customers.
I wish I could give fewer stars. This place is a rip-off. After waiting two hours for our order, they told us it had been on its way for over an hour. They're completely incompetent, and the person who served us was incredibly rude. They kept giving us the runaround and had the nerve to not answer the phone after two hours. We had to call from different numbers to verify that it was actually true. Honestly, the quality of the food doesn't matter; the service alone makes me want to file a complaint, even with the consumer protection agency if necessary.
