About this place Sitges Bears Beach (L'Home Mort)

Sitges Bears Beach, also known as L'Home Mort, is a well-established gay beach destination in the coastal town of Sitges, Catalonia. Located along Spain's Mediterranean coastline, this beach has become a recognized gathering spot for LGBTQ+ travellers, particularly those in the bear community. The relaxed beach setting offers a natural space to swim, sunbathe, and socialize with fellow queer visitors in a laid-back coastal atmosphere. Sitges itself is one of Spain's most popular LGBTQ+ destinations, known for its welcoming gay scene and vibrant summer season. The beach culture here tends to be casual and inclusive, reflecting the broader progressive attitude of the town. Visitors can expect a mix of locals and tourists enjoying the Mediterranean Sea, with the natural beach environment providing a refreshing alternative to the town's bars and clubs. When planning a visit, it's worth noting that Sitges is easily accessible from Barcelona and has good public transport connections. This seems like a great place but I took my wife and kids there and it turns out there are few actual bears or wildlife of any kind ... Its a different type of bear village and not so much a family zoo visit type of vibe... the "bears" that we did see seemed to be having a great time though .

Top, Top, Top and again just Top! This place is the friendliest I've ever been to. Although it exists mostly during the bearweek event, it's always full. You can have fun here, dance, talk, drink, walk, jump into the sea, relax on the pier, indulge in tenderness to an acceptable extent and much, much, much more. Suitable for both singles and those experimenting. Engaged and single, everyone will find their place. The poor English skills of the staff are compensated by the warmth and willingness to comply, help, advise. For me personally, a second home during my vacation in 2024 and a planned place of residence in 2025 and so on.

International Bear Week is an amazing event. It's a gathering of bears of all kinds from around the world. It's an event full of color, music, love, and good vibes. Highly recommended...

Great place to have a few beers and chillout to the DJ grooves after a bite to eat and watch the world go by.
