About this place Soca

Soca is a gay restaurant in Sitges with California-inspired food and a relaxed, spacious feel.

You’ll find Soca right in the middle of Sitges, a town that’s long been a draw for LGBTQ+ travelers. The restaurant itself feels big, a good place to spread out for a meal with friends or just to hang out and people-watch.

The cooking takes its cues from California: fresh stuff, lighter dishes. Think healthy, but not in a way that sacrifices flavor. The menu’s got those options if you’re into them, or just good food in a gay-friendly spot.

Sitges has always been a place where gay culture and community are front and center, from its beaches to its nightlife. Eating here is part of that bigger picture. Soca is at Sant Gaudenci 9. You can check out their website at http://www.soca.es.

It's fine for occasional visits. Prices are reasonable, and they have a special menu for €26 on Sundays. Recommended.

€2.60 for an iced coffee...😅

The weekend menu is fine, though a bit pricey for what you get. I'd recommend the gratinéed zucchini, the prawn cocktail, and the Catalan-style cod. I think the turbot would be better with a garlic and parsley sauce or a properly dressed salad. The service was friendly throughout, but it was quite slow to serve both the starters and main courses.

It's a shame that the good atmosphere and good food are uncompensated by the bad mood of the old man who seems to be one of the owners.
