About this place Pub BUBU

Pub BUBU is a gay bear bar on Carrer del Botànic, near the Jardí Botànic on the edge of the old town. The crowd is mostly bears and the men who like them, but anyone is let in, and drinks are cheap. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Weeknights finish around midnight or 01:00, and Friday and Saturday run until 03:30, with Saturday starting at 21:30. Weekends after midnight are the busiest time. By its own account it also opens on most public holidays and the nights before them.

Cozy bar with nice people to strike up a conversation. I was there on Thursday and there was a special offer on the price of drinks with a minimum purchase of two. There was also someone who spontaneously started playing his guitar, which was really fun. On Friday, the pub was much busier, which was very pleasant. It does only get a bit busier around midnight, though.

Must have been a good night for Bubu, it was packed compared to the other gay bars in the area, but €5 for a beer is extortionate. Should really think about lowering the price, to motivate people to buy more.
