About this place Catalina Suites

Catalina Suites is a small suites hotel on Carrer de Sant Ferran in Ciutat Vella, Valencia's old town. It's a mainstream, gay-friendly place and not a gay hotel. The draw is location: the Mercado Central, La Lonja and the cathedral are all within a short walk, and so are the bars of El Carmen. Google reviewers give it about 3.9 from roughly 280 reviews, which suggests a fair mid-range stay rather than anything special. Old-town streets are pedestrianised and narrow, so if you're arriving by car, sort out parking before you get there. The hotel's own site lists room types.

Highly recommended! It's an old building, renovated into a hotel. Excellent value for money, 10/10. Comfortable rooms and beds, and a perfect location for visiting Valencia's attractions and having plenty of places to eat and enjoy a drink nearby. The receptionist was incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming. The only downside is that they don't replenish the breakfast buffet, so if someone else is staying and has breakfast before you, you might end up paying for a "basic" breakfast at the buffet price.

A real disaster! The room had the bathroom on another floor and they didn't tell you. We had to find another hotel because my health doesn't allow me to climb stairs 🥲🥲

Location is amazing Staff is great and helpful Breakfast is way too simple so I would recommend to have it elsewhere, would be nicer and cheaper Rooms were a bit old with stuff falling, like the soap holder in the bathroom and some mold in the bottom of the shower Could be a bit more cared for If you want location still amazing

An old, restored building. It has a beautiful location. Because it's central, it gets noisy until late at night. If you can't sleep, you can watch the city's vibrant nightlife from your balcony.
