About this place Valencia Mindfulness Retreat

Valencia Mindfulness Retreat is a gay-friendly B&B in Valencia’s city center, just off Plaza Virgen in the lively Barrio del Carmen.

You get comfortable rooms here, plus a five-star champagne breakfast. It's a nice home base for seeing Spain's Mediterranean coast.

The place leans into the "retreat" part of its name. They do yoga and massage, good if you need a break from seeing the city. And the location puts you close to Valencia's cultural spots, the beaches, and the queer nightlife, which is pretty good here. Barrio del Carmen is one of Valencia's cooler areas, full of cafes, galleries, and a lot of local flavor.

This B&B is for LGBTQ+ travelers who want something more personal and wellness-focused than a big hotel. The yoga and mindfulness push means a relaxed, open-minded vibe. Whether you're in Valencia for art, the beach, or the local queer community, this place gives you a comfortable, restorative stay with a solid breakfast. Being so central means you’re right where you need to be.

The area surrounding the hotel is not advisable to go out at certain times.

I booked a room in February, and on May 12th I received an email saying there had been a data breach regarding the reservations and that I should report it if they asked me to re-swipe my credit card. The next day I received another email saying there were problems with my card and that I had to re-swipe it, which I interpreted as phishing. Obviously, I forwarded that email to the address from the first message, without receiving a response. The third email informed me that my reservation had been canceled. I managed to call the hotel, and they had indeed canceled my reservation. They denied the first email and informed me that there was no room available the day before my arrival. Fortunately, I was able to contact Zenit's main office, and they reinstated my reservation. Raquel was very helpful. However, at the hotel, the person who canceled my reservation and told me there was no room available, Javier D., didn't even apologize. We had a terrible experience because of him.

The best thing about the hotel was Andrés, with his tireless work and kindness.

It's a bit pricey, but it's very close to the train station. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom and bed were very comfortable. The staff were also very nice.

The experience it was good the location it's just a most At 1 minute away literally from the train station and walking distance of all around everything is a most take The service fast everything was clean so I will no think twice to take it in another opportunity that I visit this unique city And I'm going to do it because I need more time to experience all what this city offer.

A truly perfect hotel for visiting Valencia and relaxing in the city center. Its location is ideal. It's situated on a small street alongside Valencia's train station, directly opposite the metro exit when coming from the airport. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious, impeccably clean, and the soundproofing, both inside and out, is excellent. We had a view of the train station (under renovation, but no problems) and the French doors offered a very pleasant view of the city's activity. The historic center is just steps away. Thank you to the reception staff who allowed us to access our room very early (10:00 AM) when check-in is usually at 1:00 PM. Breakfast is excellent. We had planned to eat in town, but given the buffet's selection and the quality and variety of the products, we went every day. The dining room and staff were pleasant. Overall, a very good hotel at a reasonable price, allowing you to visit Valencia while enjoying the comfort of a lovely room at the end of the day. Highly recommended. The only slight drawbacks were the somewhat noisy air conditioning and the lack of tissues in the bathroom.
