About this place Restaurant Turangalila

Turangalila is a mainstream restaurant with live shows on Avenida Maestro Rodrigo in Valencia, listed as gay-friendly rather than a gay venue. The decor is the first thing you notice: gothic and baroque furniture, altars, mythological statues and ornament on every surface. Shows are part of the evening service, and the camp, theatrical tone makes it popular with groups and celebrations. It serves lunch Monday to Saturday, with dinner and shows only on Friday and Saturday nights (from 21:30, running late). It's closed on Sunday. Rated 4.7 from more than 2,000 Google reviews, so book ahead for weekend nights.

And I can't give the service more stars. Two weekends ago we went for a bachelorette party and it was SPECTACULAR. It had been a long time since I'd laughed and enjoyed a show so much, from the moment we arrived until the very end. All the performers interacted with us a lot and in a very personalized way. But Liz... she stole the show. No one escaped her spicy humor (some more than others). It was our first time there, but we're already eager to go back. Highly recommended.
