Scandic Triangeln

Great location and view from higher floors. The room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately there no amenities in the room - no kettle, no tea, no sanitary set, no slippers. That's bad in a 4 stars hotel.

Awfully disappointed by the bed. Instead of replacing their old sunk-in spring mattresses they added the cheapest, thinnest mattresses on top. It’s terribly uncomfortable and absolutely inappropriate in a hotel of that standing. Rooms are big but they smell stuffy since you cannot open the windows

The only negative was that it was not possible to cancel a breakfast because it was pre-booked. So strange that modern digital systems lack that function or was it the staff's reluctance? That's where Scandic fell.

The air conditioning in the room wasn't working. There was no water heater, coffee/tea maker, or mini-bar. The room view was nice, but the carpeted room was not hygienic at all. There was a dirty carpet smell in the corridors. There was also a strange smell in the elevator. The location and view are very nice.

Great room and accompanying children felt seen at check-in, which we adults really appreciated!

Nice good shopping center with everything you could want

I stayed at this hotel during the Internet i fokus conference 2026. The conference itself was also hosted at the hotel. Room: the hotel itself is fairly nice but it feels like a standard hotel. My room had a wonderful view of the clocktower, was clean and the bed and bedding was comfortable. However decor is outdated and old, scuffed chairs. There was no kettle, no tea and no Nespresso machine which tends to be standard in this type of hotel. Staff were friendly across the hotel. Conference rooms: the meeting room where the conference was hosted was a good size, with four good sized screens and a fairly nice stage setup. It lacked things like a speaker screen but was good overall. Conference lunch: a special mention for this as the conference lunch was a fantastic spread of breads and salads. Hats off to the fantastic chefs who clearly put a lot of effort in. It's the best conference lunch I've had, and suprassed all others. Breakfast: breakfast selection was great. A better coffee would improve things. Gym: the gym was small but has a nice view over the city. I used the rowing machine and weights. There are also running machines, bikes and striders. The best thing about the hotel was wonderful city views as rooms are on high floors, it's very walkable to everything in Malmö and just two minutes from the direct train to and from Copenhagen airport, and there's a great coffee shop right by it.
