Hike Black Forest Alp — Grosse Scheidegg — First

The meeting point is at 9:10 AM at the post bus station at Meiringen train station, departure at 9:20 AM to Schwarzwaldalp. From there, we will hike for about 4 hours over the Grosse Scheidegg to First, with a magnificent view of the Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, and Grindelwald. After the lunch break, we will take the cable car to Grindelwald and from there take the regional train back to Interlaken Ost. Those who wish to shorten the hike can take the post bus from the Grosse Scheidegg to Grindelwald. Please bring a picnic, enough drinks, sturdy hiking boots, and sun and rain protection (optional hiking poles). Refreshment stops are available at Grosse Scheidegg and First. Please purchase your ticket to Schwarzwaldalp and for the return journey from First/Grindelwald. See you soon and happy hiking!
