Geneva Pride
About This Event
Geneva Pride is the Pride march of French-speaking Switzerland in the years when Geneva hosts it, and it doesn't happen every year. The Pride Romande moves between cities in Romandy. In 2026 it went to Lausanne, which hosted it on 26 and 27 June 2026 for the first time in 20 years, so Geneva had no march that year.
When Geneva hosts, the march is a Saturday-afternoon walk along the lake. In 2025 it set off from Quai Wilson, crossed the Pont du Mont-Blanc and ended at the Parc des Bastions. It's free and needs no registration. Geneva hotels are expensive, so book early if you're staying over.
The last Geneva edition was on Saturday 7 June 2025. Organizers expected more than 35,000 people. Reports confirmed thousands but published no count. The organizers' message warned against politicians playing down violence against LGBTQIA+ people and against planned federal cuts to prevention work. Travel listings expect Geneva to host again in 2027, but the 2027 dates hadn't been officially announced when we checked.
