If you want a social, lively hostel, this fits and that’s what most of the good reviews are about. however, the Australian guy who runs it is an interesting character, one of those who will lie with confidence. I made a mistake in my booking, which could have been handled differently, instead I got a frustrating phone call that dodged every direct question I asked. Either he doesn’t know the terms on the platform he’s selling through, or he was testing how much he could slide past by. If that wasn’t middle of the night after hours of traveling I would have walked away. What followed during my stay was a masterclass in damage control. A smile and attentiveness after don’t cancel out the fact that you were misleading. Book the bed if you want, but know what you are walking into in case something goes wrong.
I love this so much. So many great people and there’s always someone if you need help or anything else. Love the rooftop as well
Stayed from 06/03-06/2026 Gold Coast is overall a great hostel for anyone solo traveling! +One of the most social hostels I've stayed in +The team is perfect +Great location (inside Old Town, near everything related to night life, food or tourism) +Great rooftop bar +Comfy 4 people dorms (mixed and non mixed) -shower un my room was a bit rudimentary but still functional so I don't really mind -bathroom is not in the bedroom but in the corridor (could be a + for some people) The pub crawl night was a lot of fun, I think Gold Coast is a great place to meet great people!
Best hostel in Turkey . Come here for the best drinks and atmosphere. You get to meet good people and lovely staff who take good care of you. Near and clean rooms and 24/7 service The reception guy is very cool and friendly
I stayed at this hostel recently and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The cleanliness was far below what I expected — common areas and bathrooms were not properly maintained, and it felt neglected overall. The staff was not very helpful or welcoming, and communication was difficult when trying to resolve simple issues. The room itself was noisy, with poor sound insulation, making it hard to get proper rest. Additionally, some of the amenities advertised were either unavailable or not functioning properly during my stay, which added to the frustration. Overall, I would not recommend this hostel unless significant improvements are made in cleanliness, service, and management. There are definitely better options available in the area for the same price.
Good hostel. Yesterday evening check in. Great guys. Love it !
I've stayed at this hostel for one night while passing through Antalya. We've been welcomed most amazingly by Fatih, who showed us around, gave us tips and instantly treated us like friends! Showing us the Turkish heart, welcoming hospitality. The hostel is situated in the old town, with plenty of bars and restaurants and also ruins, local shops, making it a wonderful location to learn about the culture. The facilities of the hostel are on point, and the gem is the rooftop, where you can relax reading a book during the day or socialise in the evening with a drink while plenty of activities organised by the hostel are taking place! We enjoyed it so much that one week later, we decided to come back for another night! Highly recommended!
