I"m surprised to see so many great reviews about the restaurant - maybe we were unlucky to eat there in a bad day. The meal we had (duck and a burger) was absolutely disappointing: overcooked meat, dry, not tasty at all - and overpriced for what we had. We had high expectations considering all the good reviews, but sadly our experience wasn't pleasant.

Went for supper, which was delicious, and really enjoyed this dog friendly boutique pub.

I was treated to a birthday meal at the Fuzzy Duck today. I chose the roast lamb, all of which was superb, I don’t expect to have a Yorkshire pudding but it so disappointing that I couldn’t have the duck fat roasted potatoes,! as I was informed that they contain dairy (and I suspect possibly wheat as I am intolerant of both). If you are using duck fat, butter should not be required nor flour to make a crispy roast potato. A roast isn’t a roast without roasties?!!
