About this place BBB - Bristol Bear Bar

Bristol Bear Bar, at 2 West Street in Old Market, bills itself as the UK's only purpose-built bear bar, and it's the busiest of the village's gay bars. It's a compact pub-style room for bears, cubs and the men who like them, though anyone is welcome. Regular nights include Euphoria, drag cabaret and the Harness fetish night, and weekends get packed. Google lists it as open Wednesday to Sunday from early evening, until 02:00 on Fridays and Saturdays; it's closed on Mondays. Its old website no longer works, so check the Facebook page for what's on. Old Market Tavern and The Phoenix are a few minutes' walk away.

Great little spot in Old Market. The staff are very welcoming. I have been a few times, the locals are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. If you want to visit a bar and be yourself then this is the place to go

A fun, cute, small but interesting LGBTQ venue in the diverse, popular and edgy Old Market Bristol. The staff are brilliant, friendly, give everyone the time of day and brighten the place up. Fun music on Saturdays and amazing entertainment on Sundays. One of the last standing gay bars in Bristol along with the also fabulous queen shilling. I highly recommend if you want a friendly fun night out where everyone is accepted.
