Brilliant little hotel just like an American roadside motel. Nice and secure on the outskirts of an industrial estate with plenty of parking. Great little rooms and excellent value unmatched anywhere local. Nice friendly staff on arrival. We will be stopping again next time we are working locally.

The Kiln Hotel is a fantastic choice if you're looking for peace and quiet. It’s tucked away in a reserved area that feels very private. Sarah at the front desk was exceptional—her smile was so welcoming and her helpfulness was truly refreshing. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed two nights in a double room with breakfast included, staff are lovely, in paticular Sarah who works the front desk was in incredibly welcoming to me and myy colleagues, had a great sense of humour and is an overall wonderful person, she definitely sealed the deal on the experience of coming to this hotel, breakfast was very well made aswell and the rooms, where very cosy and clean, however they may be smaller then expected

Yes, Kiln is a budget hotel & as such decor is a bit tired. However the location was great- 6 minutes from Wakefield Town centre. The motel style suited us. The room had storage space, drink station & toiletries provided. It was clean & tidy. The shower was over the bath- you can ask for non slip mat. We also asked for extra towels. The Staff on reception were very friendly & chatted about the local area. There was a a bar- 2 Madri were £11 which was cheaper than local pub. Breakfast was available at extra cost but we made use of Monckton Munchies cafe on the industrial estate.

I’m using this hotel for my business trips for more than 6 years and is getting better and better, I think the new owner is more interested in improving the overall experience.

Me and my son stay at this hotel every other weekend, all the staff are very pleasant and helpful! The rooms are always clean and tidy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfasts are really good, we get a full English every time. The town centre is only 5 minutes away and there is a really really good chip shop just across the river Definitely recommend
